Seeking Magical Demolition Crew
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find the demolition crew that did the WTC-7 job for Larry Silverstein? I am very interested in locating this team for any possible demo needs because they do miraculous work.
Consider that historically on planet Earth, demolition crews typically require over a month of full time effort to prepare a skyscraper for a pristine footprint-drop demolition. It normally takes days or even weeks simply to collect bids and plan for jobs of this scale. I think it would be imprudent to pay a crew for over a month of work when it has apparently been demonstrated that such a job can be done in mere hours (well, just this once). These are the guys to hire!
You see, WTC-7 was fine on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. There was no damage because no "terrorist attacks" had happened yet, and the building certainly was not scheduled for demolition. It was just another work day for organizations with offices there, such as the CIA, Securities & Exchange Commission, IRS Regional Council, NAIC Securities, U.S. Secret Service and many others. Even though no steel and concrete buildings had ever collapsed due to fire prior to that day, someone had the foresight to know that this building was doomed in the mid morning hours way before the fires burned all day to impose their accumulative damage. So when this demolition firm answered their phone AFTER the attacks, they quickly agreed to send over a readily available crew that was sitting around with nothing else planned for that day.
That wasn't the only impressive foresight. Larry Silverstein managed to insure the buildings he owned and leased specifically for terrorist attacks about 7 weeks before it happened. Talk about awesome timing! He didn't even have to waste money on premiums during the many years before. It just popped into his head that having coverage on all of his buildings affected by the attacks would be a good thing to have just before they were affected by the attacks. That would seem suspicious if we had done that, but good ole Larry is above such realities.
Now back to the demo crew. These guys are go-getters! With all of the traffic shut down in the area due to the attacks, they somehow got through it all and hauled over a ton of explosives into the building. Yeah, the building was on fire, but this demo crew did not care about things like safety, smoke and being burned alive; they had a job to do, damn it! I wonder if they charged extra for the extremely dangerous and illegal work conditions (fire codes everywhere require non-emergency workers to exit burning buildings). Don't ask me why the building's sprinkler system failed to extinguish the "debris fires". It's not like the building had jet fuel in it like the others. We'll gloss over that, and focus on the dedication of this wonderous demo crew.
In mere hours, they installed at least a ton of explosives, ran miles of demolition wire, and in the smoke filled air, properly connected it all to the detonation control system. You can tell that they did it perfectly by the way the building fell uniformly across its width and straight down. This was a professional job, no question about it!
The only criticism that I can offer is their communication management. They did manage to start blocking off the surrounding area about an hour in anticipation of the demolition, but they did not communicate the actual event time clearly. This is known because the BBC announced that WTC-7 had already fallen about 20 minutes before it actually fell. For extra embarrassment, the building was seen clearly standing proud and tall behind the reporter as she announced this misinformation. Oops!
Now that I think about it, my other concern is the wide spread fraud that is apparently happening in the demolition service industry. How can ALL of these firms insist that it takes over a month to do a job of this scale under normal conditions when it can apparently be done in a matter of hours under the most hazardous and challenging conditions found in a burning building? This coordinated industry-wide fraud demands further investigation!
Thanks in advance for the information. Be well.
